Child Labor?

So, it's not child labor if they want to help you right? With Lily's new way of transportation(crawling), she loves to follow me around the house and do whatever I am doing. Unloading and loading the dishwasher is her favorite. When she hears me open it she comes sprint crawling into the kitchen. Her job is to unload the silverware. She hasn't quite grasped the concept of putting it into the drawer but she is excellent at putting it on the floor.

The next thing she likes to do is pull everything out of the bottom of the pantry. Then she will grab the broom and try to pull out all the little bristles. It is so cute. I know...I say that now but it won't be cute in a few months. By the look on her face, you can tell that she is very proud of herself!

I think that she has figured out that she can knock things off the shelf with the broom. She is concentrating really hard to get the little jello boxes knocked down so she can play with them.
r>She also likes to turn the little button knob thing on my vacum that changes the height settings. And yes it scares me when I turn it on cause she usally likes to set it on the lowest one so it sounds like it is sucking my carpet all the way up!(Ya, I know my Vacuum looks like it belongs back in the 1970's, but it works like a champ!)

And the Last chore that I give Lily to do is wash my back window. It doesn't take her very long cause I put Hank outside and he does the outside for her!

Oh, and just a disclaimer. My spell check thinks I am speaking a different language or something so all my words were spelled wrong. Sorry if they really are!:)

So do you rent her out for housekeeping services? She's the cutest maid that I have ever seen.
Save these pictures to show her when she is older and throws a fit when it's her turn to empty the dishwasher. Remind her that at one time she thought it was fun!!!!!

What a cutie! She needs to come over and teach Adam a few things! Too bad he can't help me with my dishes, I hate that I have to wash them by hand, I'm totally jealous.

I love that she "teams up" with Hank and Duke to do your windows! That has got to be the best picture of them all! Anytime you want to send her on over I have some windows that need to be cleaned :).

You're right on the money when you say, yes, it's cute now. Just wait. Soon you'll be like me and can't get those cupboard door hooks on fast enough. She's very ingenious though, using the broom to make an even bigger mess. She is a doll though!

I've been meaning to get on here and tell you how amazing and beautiful your cake was the other night at our Enrichment Night. I was so lucky it was placed on my May table. Maybe your mom told you, but all the other cakes got cut into and eaten except yours. Everyone commented that it was way too beautiful to cut! In fact, someone went to cut it and it almost caused an uproar with some of the ladies! Way to go, Miss!
