This April has been one that I will never forget. It has been an emotional roller coaster and kind of crazy. On April 6th I lost my Grandpa Haws. He is someone that I respect so much and love so very much. I have so many memories with my Grandpa from going to Lagoon and riding the skycoaster with him, or him walking into every single high school game with his light blue camera bag. He was so supportive of his family and loved us so much. You really don't realize how much you love someone until you can't tell them or until they are gone.
Then on April 15th my Grandma Stringham passed away. Even though I wasn't as close with her as I was my Grandpa, it was still very sad. She loved music so much and has such a great family. The only regret that I have with my Grandma is that I don't have as many memories with her. With my Grandpa, I have no regrets.
On Friday, April 22nd Pat graduated from Weber State University with his BA in Microbiology. See what I mean by emotional roller coaster? I am so Proud of Patrick. He has worked so hard to graduate and get into dental school. It is so weird to think that we are done with the first step of accomplishing our goal. Nevermind that our first step only took 7 years.
On April 30th I will be glad to say, "Goodbye April 2011." It will be one that I will never forget though. I Love you Grandpa and there will never be a day that I won't think about you. I will miss you Grandma, and I love you as well.

I'm so so sorry to hear about your grandpa! I loved him so much. He was such a great man and will be missed. I'm glad I had the opportunity to know him and have hime be my "grandpa"! That is such a cute picture with Grandpa and our kids! I'm so happy for you and Pat, and that you are going on such an adventure. We will sure miss you guys though:) Not to even mention how much Adam will miss Lil!
