Had enough Candy yet?

Happy Halloween!!! I started this post on the 29th but didn't finish it until Halloween night!

Well, we hadn't even had Halloween yet, and Lily has had enough candy to keep her dentist in business forever. Luckily her dad is in dental school. It started off with "Boo at the Zoo". It was a little cold so even though Lil was supposed to be a bumble bee, we still wanted her to dress up. So she was a tiger from the year before. This year I think she liked the costume better. Our zoo does Trick or Treat Night almost every night in October. They have fun Characters and Lily loved Yogi the best! Lily had a blast at the ward party here too. We tried to keep as many traditions as possible so we had chili and rootbeer. Then we went Trick or Treating and sorry to, Kentucky puts Utah to shame! Everyone passes out candy and good candy at that. The kids don't even have to ring doorbells. The people sit on their porches with the houses all decorated. It is like a huge block party. We walked down this one cul-de-sac and all of the people were out in the middle of the road and there was a table with a bunch of bowls of candy so all the kids had to do was get one piece out of each bowl instead of walking around the whole cul-de-sac. They also were having a huge bon fire in the middle of the road. It was awesome! Lily had a great time! She got a ton of candy and we only went out for about hour.

What a fantastic Mom to continue the fun fam traditions. Now that you've seen how trick or treating should be done you can bring that tradition back to Utah. To my cute Lil. there never was a cuter bee. You out buzz them all. Sure luv and miss you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How awesome about the trick or treating, that would make me much less nervous not having to go inside people's houses!! You are so cute to make the chili and root beer and decorate so cute! And you did an awesome job on Lily's costume!!

Miss! It's been so long since I've read any blogs. I'm so happy I found yours again! It feels like you've been gone sooo long. Lily looks so big! You're all missed tons, but it sounds like Pat's doing great at school and you're doing a great job of "blooming where you've been planted". I'm excited to see you all in December. Love ya!

Oh, and I hope you're feeling ok! :0)
