This year for Thanksgiving we stayed in Louisville. We had dinner with just our little family. It was really fun though and everything tasted really good. It makes you appreciate all the work that your family always goes to, to make Thanksgiving so nice cause it really isn't easy. Lily and Pat's favorite part was the little appetizers.

My favorite part was cooking my very first turkey!

I tried something that I had read about on the food network and heard about from a friend. I brined it. I pretty much just soaked it in some really salty water over night, but it made it so juicy and delicious!

It was hard being away from our Family in Utah, but my cute Mom sent me some China that was given to her and I got to use that for our dinner! It made it really special and pretty. Thanks Mom! When I was a kid, my Mom and Dad would take us to a movie on Thanksgiving, so we took Lily to see Arther's Christmas.

As you can see she couldn't take her eyes off of the screen. We had a great Thanksgiving and we are so very thankful for all of the blessings in our lives!

Once again what a wonderful Mom. You make things so special for your little family. The turkey looks fabulous, makes my mouth water. You are creating memories and traditions that will last through the eternities.
You are amazing!!! Everything looked so good! I bet Lily will remember these memories forever. She seriously looks like she is 5 years old, I can't believe it. I'm so excited to see you guys in like a week!! Oh, and Matt almost made me buy a turkey today so that we could brine it, we really want to try that!
